Recently after months of snow and freezing temperatures, it warmed up just enough to melt all the snow. My three year old daughter, Hannah, looked out of our family room window and exclaimed, "The snow is all off my slide!" Then with arms stretched out to their fullest and with her whole body she declared, "Isn't it a wonderful, wonderful world?"
Thank you Hannah for reminding me, your responsibility-laden and always busy mother, that there is wonder to be had in this world. Found in the simple not the complex, the "wonder-filled" is all around us. Will you see it? Will I? Hannah sees the wonder. She sees it every day of her three year old life. It shines in her eyes and radiates from her face. It brings her joy and that joy is contageous.
Where's the wonder in your world?
